Chadwick End FC new kit

Back in 2014 we heard that Chadwick End FC had been broken into and their kit had been stolen. Whilst not in the core of our area we recognised their plight, looked into our limited resources and found £1000 to fund a new set of kit for the team.

This week we heard from Nick Hemming, their manager, sending a big thank you from everyone at the club. “We just wanted to say thank you for your support after we were invaded by travellers 3 years ago we were struggling to keep going but with your very generous donation we are slowing getting back on our feet. Our new kit now carries the Knowle and Dorridge Lions logo which we are proud to have on our shirts.

“And the good news is WE WON THE CUP. On Thursday 30th March 2017 we played AFC Warwick who are top of our division 3 and are sure to get promotion so it was never going to be an easy game for us. After trading goals the score was 3-3 at full time and we won 5-4 on the penalty shoot out.”

Their first trophy since 2014 so a great boost for everyone at Chadwick End FC.
