Solihull Life Opportunities – SoLO
“Embracing Disability, Empowering Lives” SoLO Life Opportunities is a local charity adding value to the lives of over 1000 children and adults with learning disabilities, their parents and carers. SoLO provides high quality leisure and social opportunities, community based Day Time Activities, a Personal Assistants Service and Supported Living.
Provision ranges from specialist services for those with more profound disabilities and challenging behaviour to more general services for those with moderate to severe learning disabilities. SoLO enables all to experience social activities, reducing isolation, building skills, making friends and improving lives.

The UK Sepsis Trust
Every 3.5 seconds, someone in the world dies of sepsis. In the UK alone, 44,000 people lose their lives to sepsis every year. This is more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer combined. Globally, sepsis claims 6 million lives a year. Yet with early diagnosis it is easily treatable.
